The Nixle service allows government agencies to send messages to local residents via phone, email and web. Information is delivered almost instantly. Nixle serves government agencies and organizations in all 50 states. By June 1, 2014 over 7,100 agencies and over 2,000,000 subscribers were registered to use the Nixle service.
Nixle’s Private Messaging application allows agencies and organizations to use the same Nixle platform for public messaging to communicate to anyone and everyone. Agencies and organizations can define custom groups and use mobile phone texts messages (SMS) to keep group members up-to-date with real-time messages on mobile phones.
